Graphene Batteries develops “Battery Grade Graphene”, primarily for the Li-ion battery market. Our technological development is focused on enhancing the performance of both existing and next generation cathode and anode materials with the unique properties of graphene.
Our work is supported by our long standing expertise in high throughput experimentation and several years of development work on scalable and automated synthesis of graphene derivates such graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (RGO).
The technology involves synthesis, modification and formulation of graphene to be used in battery electrodes as an additive. Our graphene enhanced electrodes have shown to have higher capacity and power than those built using the state of art materials. Additionally there is a potential for long term cycling stability and improved low temperature performance which will translate into versatile batteries with much higher lifetime. Our business strategy is to build a key technology IP-portfolio for both licensing and production. We are presently seeking strategic industrial partners in the Li-ion battery value chain, as well as potential customers for our products
